Dear Bright Mind,
How are you doing? How was your week? Did you have a good time? Or what it is a struggle? Whatever way it went, I want you to be grateful.
I had a good week. I met new students and I really enjoyed learning from them. A key thing in our conversation was about their next steps or the vision they have for themselves.
Just an observation, I think some Africans in the UK have set a limit to their aspirations. I know there are systemic barriers but with God we can live the life He has planned for us.
This week, I am sharing about the vision and making it a reality. It is not by your ppeer or strength but by God's guidance and help.
Every great journey begins with a spark, a vision planted by God deep within your heart. It may be a whisper in the quiet moments or a burning passion that won't leave you alone. But no matter how it comes, one thing is sure: it’s not there by accident. You were chosen to carry it forward.
Making the Journey isn’t just about movement. It is about intentionality. It is about saying “yes” to the unknown, to growth, to the discomfort that forges strength and character. It is about stewarding your God-given vision with courage, faith, and diligence.
Step One: Embrace the Vision
A God-given vision often feels bigger than us and that’s exactly the point. Don’t run from the weight of it. Lean into it. Ask God for clarity, for wisdom, and for confirmation. Let His voice drown out the noise of fear, doubt, and the pressure to conform.
Step Two: Prepare for the Process
There is no shortcut to destiny. David was anointed king as a boy, but he endured years of trials before the crown sat on his head. Preparation is not punishment; it is the proving ground. Use this season to learn, serve, build discipline, and deepen your roots.
Step Three: Walk with Purpose and Identity
Every step you take, even when it doesn’t make sense, is part of the journey. Move forward with faith. Surround yourself with mentors, visionaries, and people who push you to grow. Stay aligned with your values. Keep the vision in focus. And when discouragement knocks, remember: God finishes what He starts. Remember who you are in God.
Step Four: Bless Others Along the Way
Your vision isn’t just about you, it is a divine assignment to impact others. As you journey, lift others. Share your lessons. Offer encouragement. Be the light in someone else's path.
Reflection:
What is the vision God has placed in your heart? What is one step you can take this week to move closer to it, no matter how small?
Keep going. The journey may be long, but the destination is worth every step.
Have a wonderful week ahead.
